Q: ARE ALL OF YOUR SAUNAS PRIVATE?
Yes. Each sauna is located in a private suite where you can relax uninterrupted.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I WEAR IN THE SAUNA?
Something minimal such as a bathing suit. You want to be able to sweat freely since your pores are open. Please remove any footwear prior to entering the sauna.
Q: HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION?
All sauna sessions are 40 minutes.
Q: DO YOU PROVIDE SHOWERS?
No. We recommend waiting at least an hour to shower as it allows the body to continue to sweat out toxins.
Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY CORE BODY TEMPERATURE TO RETURN TO NORMAL?
It is normal for the body to take as much as an hour to return to its regular temperature. This is why the body continues to sweat after the sauna is finished.
Q: DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
Scheduling an appointment can be done by calling, visiting our facility or booking online if you’re a member. Walk-ins are accommodated based on sauna availability.
Q: CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Yes. When booking your appointment let us know so we can reserve a larger sauna for you. Our add-on pricing makes this affordable and fun.
Q: WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT?
We request prior-day notice of any cancellation as this allows us to better accommodate all of our members. If a session is scheduled using a package offer and no cancellation notice is provided, the session could be counted as fulfilled.
Q: HOW OFTEN CAN I TAKE A SAUNA?
You should base your sauna frequency on your personal health and wellness goals. Saunas can be taken daily. 3 times a week is recommended for a steady detoxifying regimen. Try taking a sauna following your workout routine.
Q: CAN I USE A SAUNA IF I HAVE IMPLANTS?
Metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants generally reflect infrared waves and thus are not heated by this system. Nevertheless, you should consult your physician prior to using an infrared sauna.
Q: ARE THE SAUNAS SANITARY?
Yes. We provide clean towels and we sanitize each sauna after every use.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I DO WHILE IN THE SAUNA?
Taking a sauna is the best time to relax and unwind. We provide music & magazines. Feel free to bring that book you have been dying to read or the friend you have been meaning to catch up with on life. One could always be still and meditate. It is best not to sleep while taking a sauna.
Q: IS THE WEIGHT LOSS ONLY WATER?
No, It is more than that. Your body works harder in response to the heat. It increases circulation, heart rate and sweating thus burning calories. According to many experts and studies it is possible to burn as many calories as you would running for 30 minutes. So you lose actual weight not just water weight.
Q: HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD I DRINK?
Plenty. Bring water with you into the sauna. Other drinks that are helpful are ones that contain electrolytes. Coconut water is natures electrolyte replacement drink.
Q: DO YOU PROVIDE WATER?
Yes. We have a variety of beverages available for purchase.
Q: WHAT IF I DON’T USUALLY SWEAT A LOT?
Not to worry. For most people it usually takes a few sessions before the body really begins to sweat profusely.
Q: ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USING SAUNAS?
